mac cosmetics causing severe cystic acne?

Ok i have acne and i really take care of my skin or else i break out badly.liquid foundation made my acne worsen so bad that i have stopped using it for life.I started using mac skin finish and i keep breaking out every blessed day.I heard that mac is made for stage make up and that might be what is affecting my skin.please,can you guys recommend a good powder(not liquid)foundation for my acne face?

First of all, you need to use all OIL FREE makeup. From that end, you need to use makeup meant for oil control. I use all Prescriptives products, and my face is always completely clear and lovely. I think a brand like Neutrogena would be a good, cheaper alternative.
