My 17 year old daughter has severe acne.?

I have taken her to dermatologists and none of the prescription medication works. Does anyone know of any herbal or home remedies?
She has curbed her consumption of sugar, fatty foods, chocolates.

I have horrible acne on my shoulders and a bit on my chest. What can i do? i've taken medicine in the past and?

and it hasn't worked. I've taken erythromycin however you spell it. I have also taken herbal remedies. I'm really tired of friends of the family giving me stupid herbal remedies to put in the bath or wipe on my back because as far as im concerned, none of them work on severe acne.
The only medication that's available to me now will make my teeth turn yellow and will make the chance of me getting kidney infections much higher. This isn't worth the risk in my opinion.
Please list every and any way you can think of me getting rid of this horrible set of spots before summer! I have had these spots on my shoulders for roughly 4 years now and i am now nearly 17.

When I was younger I had a rotten time with acne on my back then someone suggested cider apple vinegar, yes really, just dab it on daily, only use simple soap or shower gel,when washing , you have to apply the vinegar every day after washing, I know it sounds stupid but .it worked really well, and no I didn`t stink of vinegar all the time it wears off and no one noticed it. It`s worth giving it a try
