What are some more drastic ways to get rid of acne?
I'm 20 years old and as I get older my skin has just been getting worse and worse. I've tried everything and nothing helps. Right now, I'm on birth control and spironolactone, and use Retin-A. I wash my face twice a day, moisturize, and only use good quality makeup. I eat healthy and drink plenty of water. In the past, I've tried Proactiv and a lot of different topicals but none of that has worked.
So has anyone tried something more drastic than any of this and had good results? Things like laser treatments, chemical peels, cortisone, or any other type of treatment. Any advice is welcome, I'm getting desperate.
